Swim Classes

Swimming is the only sport you can teach your kids that can save their lives. We recommend starting as young as 6 months old and progressing through our 9 levels of proficiency. I host lessons from Mon-Fri during the day at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Old Greenwich.

Group Lessons

$160 each / month (4 lessons/month)

Starting with our Hatchlings (Parents & Babies 6mnths-2yrs) right through to Stroke Proficiency (2-10yrs). Group learning has numerous advantages. Fill in the details in our Sign-Up Form and we’ll help place your child accordingly.

Semi-Privates

$200 each / month (4 lessons/month)

For siblings or besties that want an exclusive lesson. Semi-Privates offer a personalized opportunity to hone your swimming skills.

Private Lessons

$300 each / month (4 lessons/month)

Private swimming lessons for children provide personalized attention, ensuring safety and faster skill development. This one-on-one approach builds confidence and tailors lessons to each child’s unique needs and pace.

The Little Penguins Program:

Hatchlings (6 months - 2 years)

Hatchlings 1:

- Comfort in the water with parent
- Gentle water on the face and submersion
- Floating on back with support
- Kicking legs with support

Hatchlings 2:

- Blowing bubbles
- Floating on back independently for a few seconds
- Kicking legs independently with floatation device
- Gentle water submersion with less support

Hatchlings 3:

- Blowing bubbles with face in water
- Floating on back independently for longer periods
- Kicking legs independently without floatation device
- Gentle water submersion independently

Penguins (2 - 10 years)

Penguins 1:

- Entering and exiting the pool safely
- Blowing bubbles with face in water
- Floating on back and front with minimal support
- Kicking legs and moving arms with minimal support

Penguins 2:

- Floating on back and front independently
- Kicking legs and moving arms independently
- Basic front crawl with support
- Basic backstroke with support

Penguins 3:

- Front crawl independently for short distances
- Backstroke independently for short distances
- Introduction to breaststroke and butterfly kicks
- Retrieving objects from shallow water

Penguins 4:

- Front crawl with proper breathing technique
- Backstroke with proper technique
- Basic breaststroke and butterfly kicks
- Retrieving objects from deeper water

Penguins 5:

- Proficient front crawl and backstroke
- Breaststroke with proper technique
- Butterfly with proper technique
- Treading water for 1 minute

Penguins 6:

- Advanced front crawl and backstroke
- Advanced breaststroke and butterfly
- Treading water for 2 minutes
- Diving and underwater swimming
